March, Paddle Play For the Ocean- World Oceans Day

Celebrate the Ocean, Paddle, Play and March for the Ocean
Celebrate the Bay and Ocean Health on World Oceans Day, June 9! Join our mermaids and sharks across the nation marching, cleaning the beach, paddling for a healthy ocean and San Francisco Bay!*
With Aquarium of the Bay, Environmental Action Committee West Marin, Soil Not Oil, Sustainable Surf, San Francisco Surfrider, San Francisco Department of the Environment, San Francisco Dolphin Club, Kayakers Alliance, Sports Basement and others.
The public is invited to gather at the Maritime Heritage Area at Aquatic Park in San Francisco at Noon to convene with marchers hosted by Soil Not Oil starting at the Ferry terminal at noon. Party at Sports Basement 2-5pm.
Join Shark Stewards and ocean activists Wearing Blue in a public display of support for our Ocean MPAs, National Marine Sanctuaries and Marine National Monuments.
Splash, kayak, paddle- wear blue for the ocean!
The party begins at the Sports Basement Presidio Cove, near the Golden Gate, at 2 PM.
Libations, prizes for the best ocean attire.
