August 20, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join our crew of kids, sharks, mermaids, pirates and Alcatraz escapees cleaning the beach for a Plastic Free National Parks and Waterfront.

Beach cleanup and advocating for a plastic free Bay and waterfront.

Aquatic Park Maritime Heritage Area, San Francisco above the beach (Map Below).
Meet at the bleachers mid-park and look for the sign and sign in sheet.
We are advocating to protect California Marine Life by eliminating plastic from our National Park.
Pickers, gloves and buckets are available but donations gratefully accepted to supply these and to support our youth ocean education program.

Since 2015 we have been monitoring and segregating marine debris, recycling and working to reduce ocean pollution. Over 100,000 butts have been picked up. Over 3000 youth have participated over this period. Let’s make the Park smoke free and the ocean healthy by stopping overfishing and limiting marine pollution.

COVID Safety required: masks and social distancing a must.

Public  · Anyone – kids especially welcome- join us and table for a plastic free ocean.

Parking is available in the lot behind Williams Sonoma near the Maritime Museum on Beach Street and to the west of Aquatic Park off Van Ness. Muni also drops off in front of the Maritime Museum. The closest Bart Station is at the Embarcadero Station. The Trolley and Muni run to the Maritime Museum from the Embarcadero.

Please support our work protecting endangered sharks and rays and keep the waterfront Plastic Free!

Please donate  if you can please to support our youth ocean education program and to purchase cleanup supplies.
