Please join us celebrating and learning about sharks with the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary in 2024.
Saturday, September 28, 10AM- 12pm, 2pm- 4 PM
Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary Headquarters, San Francisco
Join us for fun and educational activities for adults and kids with shark specialists in the pier classroom.
NOTE: This is a scaled down event with advance registration- not our regular Sharktoberfest.
Shark anatomy, behavior, biodiversity and a film by Shark Stewards on local sharks.
Advance sign ups required.
Register beforehand by email; pwinch@farallones.org) (up to 20 participants in each workshop). We are targeting families with 7-12 year olds.
Attendance is free but donations are gratefully accepted to continue shark education and conservation.
