SUMMARY:California Coastal Cleanup Day\, Berkeley
DESCRIPTION:Join Shark Stewards on September 19\, 2026 for the biggest day of volunteer action at Aquatic Park Berkeley\, and the East Bay Parks! \nCoastal Cleanup Day is an international day of action to protect our oceans\, watersheds\, and wildlife from trash and plastic pollution. In collaboration with the California Coastal Commission and the Ocean Conservancy\, we have participated in these events for almost 20 years! \nJoin one of our monthly monitoring events and cleanups and learn more about restoring the health to Aquatic Park for sharks rays and people! \nEducation\, Science and Action- this event supported by a U.C. Berkeley Chancellor’s Community Partnership Grant. \n\n\nCelebrate our own hound shark and bat ray nursery site and help us monitor and  protect this beautiful park.\n\n\nCollect data on marine debris\, plastic branding and wildlife observations.\nClean up and survey\, 2985 Bolivar Dr. Aquatic Park\, Berkeley CA.
