DESCRIPTION:Welcome the kids back to school\, and join us for our monthly cleanup and water monitoring survey event at Aquatic Park\, Berkeley CA\nCelebrate our own hound shark and bat ray nursery site and help us monitor\, and protect\, this beautiful marine park. \nJoin our Aquatic Park Stewards team testing water quality\, cleaning up marine debris and helping maintain the lagoon and park. \nRSVP \nMeet at South End Parking Lot \n2825 Bolivar Drive\, Berkeley\, CA 94710 (Off Ashby entrance to East Shore Fwy) \nMAP \nPublic transportation and carpooling encouraged!\nNote- entrance to south end of park from Downtown Berkeley is off 67th and Shellmound Street- NOT Ashby Avenue. \nWhat to bring: we will have some equipment to share but if you have a bucket\, picker and gloves\, bring them please. \nWHAT TO BRING\nLayered clothing\nsunscreen and hat\nsunglasses\nreusable water or drink container\nlunch or snacks if desired- no single use plastic please!\nsandals\, sneakers of beach shoes.\nCleanup supplies if you have them\nGather reusable cleanup supplies from home\, like a bucket and gardening gloves. Cleanup supplies\, as well as liability waivers\, will be available at each cleanup site if needed.\nShow up at our cleanup site at the designated time and day.
