Sharks, SCUBA and Sanctuaries

The Marin Scuba Club is hosting marine biologist and shark advocate, David McGuire as an invited speaker. David is the founder of the Ocean Health and Shark Conservation non-profit Shark Stewards, dedicated to saving sharks and protecting critical marine habitat.
As a sailing captain, technical diver and filmmaker, he has explored the world’s oceans on numerous sailing voyages, producing media with an emphasis on
sharks and ocean awareness. He will be speaking on his upcoming book Sharks, SCUBA and Sanctuaries on diving the Pacific National Marine Sanctuaries and working in marine protection for over 20 years.
