2013 is our 5th annual Sharktober and Sharktoberfest celebrating the return of white sharks to our National Marine Sanctuaries.

Natural History Cruises to the Farallon Islands.  You are invited to join us on an exclusive Shark, Whale and Natural History Tour to the Farallon Islands onboard the vessel Outer Limits lead by shark experts and naturalists. Three dates are reserved in during the white shark season and when whales and seabirds are feeding in the Gulf. (Note- sharks are hard to find but we will be monitoring feeding locations and learning about sharks on the cruise- this is not a shark viewing trip).  Contact here for more information.

September 28, Pacifica Fog Fest parade- Dress as a Mermaid or a Shark and join us for sharks and at the Pacifica Beach Coalition booth afterwards.  9:00 Am- 5:00 PM Palmeto Avenue

September 29, Sharktober Farallon Islands Cruise

October 3rdSharklife- Sharktober kick off at the California Academy of Sciences. Live music, shark drinks, shark performance and fun. 21 and over  6:30-10:00 PM

October 5th, Sharktoberfest with the Gulf of the Farallones National Marne Sanctuary. has moved to the Sports Basement Presidio Location at Crissy Field San Francisco.  Family shark fun. 3:00 PM- 5:00 PM

October 13th Rocktoberfest for sharks with Giant Squid & Salty Teeth, Speak Easy Brewery, Live Music, Great Food and BBQ All Ages Welcome 1195 Evans Ave, San Francisco 1:30- 6:00PM.

October 17th, Shark Drinks with San Francisco Blue Drinks Rubios 6:00 PM to Close at 4 Embarcadero, San Francisco.  Home of the Sustainable Fish Taco. Bloody Sangria and Beer.  Use this flyer and we receive 20% of all sales.  Giveaways from Patagonia and win a trip on a Farallones Excursion.

October 22 and 29 & November 5  (sold out) Sharktober Shark, Whale & Wildlife Tours to the Farallones

A tour of the waters of the Gulf of the Farallones, Farallones Islands and the Continental shelf led by Sea Stewards naturalists. A day trip onboard the Outer Limits.  No guarantee we will see a shark, but we will learn about why white sharks are important.
