With all the news about overfishing and declining ocean health, we need to reflect on what is good and celebrate our work. Join Shark Stewards in a World Oceans Day celebration JUNE 9 with an uplifting look at what we can do to save sharks and the ocean.

The Good News
- Due to public pressure, our campaigning with the American Airlines admission illegally transporting endangered Hammerhead shark fins, United Airlines has joined that carrier by agreeing not to carry shark fin as cargo on their flights.
- California’s first major enforcement of the CA Shark Fin Trade Ban. Michael Kwong of San Francisco’s Kwong Yip Inc. was fined, sentenced to jail and an estimated street value of $1 Million in shark fins were confiscated. Learn more.
