Whales and Sharks in the Sanctuary
The whales are gorging themselves on anchovies and the white sharks are back from their annual migration. Have you heard about the group of 15 orcas observed from SE Farallon Island ganging up on humpback whales? For the shark’s (and the whale’s) sake, we hope the orcas have moved south as we run our first Sharktober adventures to the Farallon Islands. See the video and our article on the whale that ate jaws, and also the proposed separation of orca species.
We are again conducting these public wildlife adventures into the Greater Farallones, and as a supporter we are offering a 10% discount on tickets on our first trip, and waiving the booking fee if you use Venmo.
