Dive in for Sharks Point Lobos

Become a citizen scientist, add your observations of sharks and rays, and increase scientific knowledge. Shark Stewards collects observations of sharks and rays as part of the Shark Watch program with the California Academy of Sciences.

Join us on Easter March 27 for a fun dive and learn about local sharks at Point Lobos State Park.
This is a beach (ramp) dive in one of our marine reserves with amazing wildlife. No collecting gear allowed in the park.

We will meet near the ramp at Whalers Cove at 0900. MAP
We will have a pot luck lunch between dives. Bring the kids, have an easter egg hunt!

Second dive optional.

You must register with Point Lobos to dive- hurry before it sells out (20 divers/day only).  Sign up here.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the park. 🙁
