BEACH CLEANUP TEAM and MARINE DEBRIS SURVEY IN OUR MARITIME NATIONAL PARK.
Learn survey techniques, quantification and observe and record local flora and fauna as part of our ongoing survey.

Meet us at the middle bleachers across from the beach, 10am at Aquatic Park. We will provide gloves pickers and buckets but please bring your own if you can.
Meet at the middle bleachers in Aquatic Park Maritime Heritage Area, San Francisco above the beach.
Meet at the bleachers mid-park and look for the sign and sign in sheet. We have buckets and pickers for use but please return them!
We are advocating to protect California Marine Life by eliminating plastic from our National Park.
Pickers, gloves and buckets are available but donations gratefully accepted to supply these and to support our youth ocean education program.
HISTORY
Since 2015 we have been monitoring and segregating marine debris, recycling and working to reduce ocean pollution. Over 100,000 butts have been picked up. Over 3000 youth have participated over this period. Let’s make the Park smoke free and the ocean healthy by stopping overfishing

Public · Anyone -= kids especially welcome- join us and table for a plastic free ocean.
Please donate $10 or more if you can please donate to to support our youth ocean education program and to purchase cleanup supplies.

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION
Parking is available in the lot behind Williams Sonoma near the Maritime Museum on Beach Street and to the west of Aquatic Park off Van Ness. Muni also drops off in front of the Maritime Museum. The closest Bart Station is at the Embarcadero Station. The Trolley and Muni run to the Maritime Museum from the Embarcadero.
