Saving Biodiversity Conservation Talk

David McGuire is the Founder and Director of the shark and marine conservation non-profit Shark
Stewards. A marine biologist, David he teaches marine policy and conducts shark research studies in the San Francisco Bay and in Malaysia. Shark Stewards works with closely with NOAA and other partners to protect critical marine habitat in our National Marine Sanctuaries and California Marine Protected Areas and introduced the California shark fin trade ban. Come hear about Shark Stewards’ latest ocean conservation projects and see David’s documentary short film “Alice in Borneo’s Wonderland”.
