The public is invited to join in and help clean Junipero Beach, Long Beach for our first field trip of our Sharks and Oceans Academy.
This educational program reaches ESL -underserved youth and teaches them about the ocean and ocean action. Meet our "sea Star" Kalani, who is leading orange county youth in ocean education.

Join us at the Lower Back Bay and help maintain this popular fitness and walking area connected to the ocean by Newport Bay. This is a restored estuary site and an important part of the watershed with small sharks, rays, wading birds and lovely vistas. Find our table at the end of Back Bay Drive on the trail next to the entrance of Back Bay Science Center, sign in and gather your collection gear.
